Old halogen downlights come to life when using Super Bright LED Discs. Conversion is simply a matter of removing the old bulb and plugging in a new disc. This Multi-Volt G4 LED Disc 2835 12SMD Super Bright LED replaces 12 Volt DC G4 Halogen Globes up to 15 Watts commonly found in Caravans, Motorhomes, Campers and R.V.'s.

The G4 LED Disc 2835 12SMD is an ideal replacement in a down-light fitting where a medium to a high level of light is required.  Check the pin configuration of the fitting, they will mount either in the side of the fitting (Side Pin) or the back of the fitting vertically (Back Pin) see illustration below.  Some down-light fittings have a glass cover, LED's dissipate heat through the surface of the SMD's, therefore it is recommended to leave the glass out if the face of the LED's is touching the glass.

The light given is a Spot type therefore suitable for down-lights where a spot type light is required in caravans & R.V.'s. Most fittings are adjustable to set the light direction, otherwise, you'll need to adjust the base to change the light direction. The pin configuration is only available in Side Pin. These and are Bi-Polarity to negate the need to re-wire the fitting if the wiring is reversed and have an input voltage range from 8 to 24 Volts DC.

New Multi-Volt Design for durability and safety.  Multi-Volt circuits are designed to ensure a consistent output voltage, this ensures the LEDs will illuminate safely and reliably within an input range from 10 to 30 volts DC. Our new Multi Volt G4 LED Discs can be safely connected to 12 or 24 volt DC battery systems without modification, providing better performance by automatically compensating for low or high battery outputs and or voltage drops caused by longer cable connections.

The New generation 2835 LED's are a super bright LED and up to three times brighter than a 5050 SMD.  Our New G4 2835 type LEDs have a bright Pure White light output.
