The 5050 Panel 36 SMD is the most common panel for use in most medium to large areas of Caravans and RV's to replace 12 volt 21 Watt bulbs in light fittings. A 36 SMD panel produces one snd a half times the light of a single 12 volt 21 Watt bulb. The light produced by a 36 SMD panel is pure white and has the added advantage of being directional, so the panel can be positioned to direct the light directly where its needed.

A conventional glass filament bulb disperses its light all around the bulb, however, in most light fittings unless the reflector has a shinny mirror like finish at least half the light is wasted. An L.E.D. Panel on the other hand, being directional it pushes all the light in one direction, thus, none of the produced light is wasted. For this reason an L.E.D. Panel can produce up to twice the light of its equivalent in a glass filament bulb.

Fitting Instructions:
The L.E.D. Panel has a strong 3M adhesive foam tape on the back to allow fitting on to a flat area of most light fittings. Simply select an adapter to fit the bulb type in your light fitting. Note that the L.E.D. panel is polarity sensitive so if it does not work at first simply reverse the plug from the panel to the adapter.

Recommended Use:
Lighting for medium to large areas. Example Caravan or RV Bedroom or Dining Area. The 36SMD Panels are a common replacement for a multiple bunker style exterior awning lights.  If you have a single bunker style exterior awning light a 48SMD panel may be a better option.
